CHILDREN NEWS

As of December 31, 2011 total children was stable as was last month numbering 37 consisting of 18 girls and 19 boys, including 2 employee's children.

5 - 12 December 2011

The children sit for semester exam.

23 December 2011

The children received their semester school reports.

20 December 2011 - 3 January 2012

The children went home for christmas holiday.

Ciputra Mall and Ciputra Hotel invited the children to perform a choir.

January 15, 2011 onwards

Every Saturday there is a skill education and training given by Yayasan Dutasia for the children, making key holders, accessories, money saving boxes, lamps etc.

• 1 (one) Male Governess

• 1 (one) Security

with the following requirements:

Child Psycholog:

1.  Bachelor in child psychology

2.  Christian

3.  Still active as a child psycholog

4.  Service-motivated

Male Governess:

1.  Christian

2.  Age 25 - 40 years and unmarried

3.  Education minimum D-3 in social/politic/education/theology

4.  Not smoking

5.  Willing to stay in the orphanage

6.  Service-oriented

Security:

1.  Male

2.  Christian

3.  Age 30 - 40 years

4.  Education minimum Senior High School / same degree

5.  Healthy and firm

6.  Not smoking

7.  Those with security training experience will be preferable

Every Monday

Every Monday starting at 8 am, there is a mass for employees which is held alternatively among the employees, followed by evaluation of activities.

Last Monday of every month

The orphanage staff meeting.

Outgoing employee

As of 22 December 2011 Ms. Erna resigned after working for 3 years and 3 months as a Governess in Asih Lestari Orphanage.

Incoming employee

Based on the decision of the management meeting held on 9 December, 2011, it was approved to ask Mr. Suroso as a governess handling elementary children of grade 4 to 6, and Mr. Paulus handling secondary and high school children, beginning on 18 December, 2011.

4 & 8 December 2011

• Staff of the Development Section held a meeting with the Orphanage's Head and the governesses.

• Meeting between staff of the Development Section with the parents to brief them before going for holiday with their children.

9 December 2011

• The Head of the Orphanage held a meeting with the management in GKI Kepa Duri.

• The Head of the Orphanage together with staff of the Health and Development sections went for a comparative study to Dorkas Orphanage and Van der Steur Orphanage regarding children health.

8 - 20 December 2011

Mr. Paulus was asked to stay with and handle Hendra.

20 December 2011

The staff of the Development Section accompanied the Orphanage's Head and the governesses seeing off the children home for christmas holiday.

FACILITIES

The orphanage received a donation of 2 units of water dispenser @ 21 litre, 1 unit of Christmas lamp and service of 9 units of AC from Mr. Cengki.

OTHERS

Cooperation with Enlighten Foundation for the training and development of the children and governess is under progress.
